Black men of this generation face all kinds of problems from high incarceration rates to high unemployment rates and while some of these problems are caused by the plans and systems that the "Man" has put in place to put us down; majority are of course by our own doing. One of the issues that we created and we must fix asap is this new phenomenon called Swag. Swag I guess is a man's persona, style or just the way he carries himself and presents himself to the world and also what make him cool.
I had to blog about this because i was having dinner with a young black woman who I had so much respect for until she told me that the one guy she had a crush on was Lil Wayne because he is the black dude with the most "Swag". I asked her what she meant by Lil Wayne having swag and she started rambling on and on about the way he dresses and what he says to women in his songs. This dumb broad even went to say that she would sleep with Lil Wayne just because of the things he says? Wow, the same dude that said "I wish I could fuck every girl in the world" and has like 5 baby mamas and can't stay of drugs or out of prison.
Now to me Obama is a guy that has swag because for one he ain't never been to jail and has a nice job, dresses appropriately (no sagging here).
So dear brothers, instead of you sitting around and whining about the problems the society has poured on you, please know that how you present yourself to the world matters a lot and could be the key to you breaking that unemployment jinx or meeting people who can help get you to good places in life.
Some stupid hoes might have you believing that looking like wayne or Soulja boy is swag and may even give you some pum-pum for that but you have to choose between being a successful man in life or getting regular hood rat pum-pum.

Kim Kardashian files for Divorce after 72 days. What a Nutcase!!
Okay so by now most who know me already know that I don't believe in marriage and I feel its just an old tradition that will eventually become extinct. Majority of men nowadays will cheat on their spouses within a year of marriage so why do we even bother to go forward with the lavish weddings (a la Nigerians)?
I knew Kim's wedding was not going to last like the rest of the world also knew but even I did not think it would be over so quick. This is going to be a big deal because how can you spend $10Million on wedding and then less than 3 months later, its over? What were they thinking and why did they not take time to get to know one another before
How should the guest feel that a wedding that they took time out to plan for and spent money to get nice digs is already over before they can even say Congrats? How should the sponsors feel after investing millions into this garbage of an event? Or how about Vera Wang who probably created an entire staff to attend to Kim's wedding dress project? How should Kris's parents feel after inviting family and friends to share the joyous occasion with never mind the fact that they must have had to explain why their son is doing such a stupid thing anyway.
I mean seriously, what could have left them to come to such a decision so quick? Word has it that Kris wanted to live in Minnesota and Kim wanted to live in LA which makes no sense at all because shouldn't they have had that convo within days of being together?
I had a friend in Nigeria who also had one of the most lavish weddings that I had ever seen in my life and within six months of marriage , we were out in Vegas together with girls all around us and yes he smashed a couple of them. I am counting down to the divorce date on that marriage because it also has SCAM written all over it.
Obama the Messiah or Obama the 419?
I rarely cry in this life because quite frankly I am not an emotional dude but I will say that I cried twice because of the POTUS Obama; once when I was at that polling booth right after I voted for him and second the day he won the general elections and was giving his ever moving and motivational speech. However, after the tears and hoopla has settled in, I am beginning to ask some questions about who really this dude is because all the promises that he gave during his campaign seem to be kinda empty now because for one, we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan and secondly the Big banks who got America into this mess were given hefty bail outs by the guy who was supposed to be against the financial special interest and lobbyists.
Politics by definition is a process whereby groups of people make collective decisions but who are the group of people that are making decisions about America and the rest of the world. Research the Bilderberg group and you will see who runs the world. The Black man was just used as a pawn once again to be a puppet to calm down the revolution that was about to start. They put him there so that he can continue their agenda of world domination and all that campaign rhetoric was nonsense. Take a look at his cabinet and you will see the same people who ruined USA but he wants us to believe that the change will come from those same people?
So while we are happy and celebrating all over the world about having a black president, we must not forget that the world is still controlled and dominated by Anglophones and they just used a black man to calm the world down while their agenda continues.....

Occupy Nigeria NOW!!!
The new wave of occupy Wall street and other cities all over the globe has got me thinking why we as Nigerians who have been hoodwinked for years have not yet had Occupy Lagos or Occupy Abuja? The protesters are protesting the way the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer and is there any place more evident of that in the world than in Nigeria?
The band of Elitists that control most of Nigeria's resources and keep pummeling us into debt have had a free run for years and yet no student protests nor revolution has occurred. Is this how we will continue to sit down and watch these bastards as they treat us like slaves? Americans and Europeans have started their own revolution and we all saw what happened in the Arab nations with the likes of Ghadaffi; so when will we rise up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?

Should / Would you let a mate know that he / she is just a fling?
So I just got off the phone with my friend who recently relocated temporarily to Nigeria for business and while we were politicking (guy talk) he informed me that he is now prancing around in a Range Rover jeep and that the owner of the car is a girl he is dating / sleeping with. That will be fine except for the fact that the dude is married here in the states. What really caught my attention is when he said that the girl told him to please not hurt her and he said to me that he was thinking to himself that "abi she should not hurt herself" LMAO. We laughed for a second and then after I realized that this is not funny as the poor girl has probably started telling friends and family that she has a new guy who just relocated from USA.
So my question is should one just keep it real and tell a new acquaintance that this here is just a fling and nothing long term will come from it? Keep in mind that if he had kept it real, he probably won't be getting free dinner, sex and of course riding around in the range rover.

Ladies, wanna know the real reason why you are not married?
Nowadays, it seems as though marriage is a hot topic of discussion and different ideas are raised like "There are not enough good Black Men" to "Marriage is a tradition that is on the decline". This is definitely not the seventies and things have changed but a lot of young black folks are still getting married and for the ladies that can't seem to get to that promised land of matrimony, here are a few reasons why Mr. Right has not come knocking yet.
- You're too High maintenance - This in my opinion is the leading cause of women getting old without getting wifed up. The truth is that most black men are very insecure with their financial status these days due to the global economic crisis and they would hesitate to approach a woman who looks like she is a manikin for Gucci or Christian Loubintin. We don't want a woman who will spend all of our life savings trying to be a fashionista but instead we want a very conservative woman who can help manage the family finances and raise our kids beyond materialism.
- Your attitude stinks - Black men generally want peace at home simply because we face major bullshit everywhere else outside our home, so the last thing we need is a woman with an attitude problem. So ladies, if you are dating a man and your bad attitude comes out frequently then he is probably going to hit it and quit it asap. We want loving and caring women who have done all their soul-searching prior to meting us and not women who just seem to be mad at everything around them.
- You have no Class - This is strictly from an educated and progressive black man's point of view because some dudes don't seem to care much about this especially when they have no class themselves. However, if I am worried that you will embarrass me when I take you to a function or you will make my friends laugh at me because you lack class, then i'm probably going to delete you number asap. I mean really, who wants a classless woman to begin with. So read a book or magazine and start to carry yourself in a better way.
- You're too desperate - With age comes desperation for single women simply because their clock is ticking but ladies please "take a chill pill" when you meet a new guy and let things flow. Do not start discussing marriage withing two months of meeting the dude because most likely you will push him away except he is as desperate as you and that itself is a very bad thing. Take time to get to know him and learn about each other rather than planning a wedding in your head the moment you meet him. I have argued this with a few of my single 30 year old female friends and they keep telling me that it's not as easy as I think and I told them that no man wants to feel rushed into marriage of all things so even if they are justified but the man perceives it as desperation then he would bail.
- You're not a HUSTLER - This is the biggest reason why most women are not married in my opinion because men don't like to talk about it much but we do think about it. Black men are lagging behind in the income department these days (actually always) so if we run into a woman who is a hustler (Lawyer, DOCTOR, business woman, pharmacist), we do the math immediately in our heads and the numbers look good so we do whatever it takes to keep that woman. Take me for instance, I earn a six figure salary and say there are two ladies, one makes $120,000 and the other is currently working as a waitress or hair dresser, who do you really think my brain will tell me to choose for marriage assuming other criteria are similar?
These are just five reasons why ladies are not yet married and another five reasons will be released shortly. Do you agree or disagree?

Glen Rice is my hero for "Smashing" Sarah Palin
So apparently Sarah Palin has and probably stills has the "Black Man fetish" as we are made to believe in the new book soon to be released by Joe McGinniss, a writer who studied her for a couple of months and interviewed people close to the former governor.
This makes me wonder how many non black women actually fantasize about being with a Black Man and also how many actually have a fetish of such. We black guys are seen in so many ways in the world society today but one thing that is for sure is the fact we are seen as the Mandingos of the world and every woman wants to have the feeling of sexual domination every now and then.
Word around town is that Glen Rice has an 11inch penis and I'm sure the former VP candidate enjoyed every bit of it. Also am I the only one who thinks Glen looks like Lexington Steele the porn star who himself is very endowed?
Anyway, white women please feel free to enjoy your fetish and if you see me on the streets, please let me know that I can fulfill your very last fantasy. LOL

You must be used to me spending and all that sweet wining and Dining but I'm ______ tonight
I have been dating this pretty woman for over 6 weeks now and we have been on a couple of dates so far but yet no affection. By my calculations, I have spent over $500 on food and drinks all in the name of getting to know her and I am about to give up but i feel if I do then my $$$ would have gone to waste. What should a man do at this point? I can keep "trying" to get to know her and keep spending or I can just say fuck it and tell her to go kick rocks. She is very beautiful and that is what keeps me going although my old self would have given up after date # 3.
Guys, do you have any rules regarding dates and sex? Let's share and women please feel free to let us know what exactly would make you keep going on dates without dropping them panties?

The Cries of the young Black Man
To be a black man in today's world is to see life in a condescending point of view. How can life be this way where everyone doubts you or criticizes you? You are the one that is unemployed and Lazy, the one that is carrying around diseases, the same one that is a gangsta and violent towards everyone. All the statistics are against you and the news media loves any story with you being portrayed as the bad guy. You can't even go anywhere without people staring like you are about to shoot up the whole place. You can't even walk to your car in the parking lot without some white or Asian woman jumping in their car and locking the door as quickly as possible. Most of the problems we face as young black men are caused by some of us but there are still those who are educated and never been arrested and are not baby daddies or gangstas, but yet we are subjected to the same harassment everywhere we go. Coming from a black Man, it hurts to be treated like this just because of the color of your skin and something has to be done or else our children will grow up and quickly see that no matter how they try to be successful, they will be perceived as negative people.
Any ideas? Nothing is too little and this is only the beginning of the discussion to change the way the world views us.

Why Amy Winehouse's Death is so disturbing?
The death of Amy Winehouse did not come as a surprise to me at all as i always felt she was going to end this way. She had been rushed to the hospitals on so many occasions and near death a few times as well. However, It saddens me because we all watched as she was going through these tough times but yet no one was able to help her or hear her cries.
It is not the first time that a rock star died from drug overdose and definitely will not be the last but it just gets more disturbing with every single occurrence. She could have reached for the stars because she had talent but yet drugs and alcohol took all that away from her.
I've never been an addict or been on drugs so I would like to know how hard could it be to quit drugs that you knew could kill you if you overdose?

President Jonathan must "CRUSH" this nonsense.
The general premise about Nigerians as always been that we are the happiest people on earth (yes right!) and most Nigerians actually personify that happiness all over the world. But the northern part of Nigeria has started to give us headache with all of this Boko Haram and AL-queda bullshit and our president must quench the fire before it becomes a blaze. The momentum is rising from these idiots who have nothing better to do than kill Innocent people who are trying hard to make a living for themselves and the time is now to use absolute brutal force to wipe those fools out. The president wants to use amnesty for a group of people who are clearly uneducated as their name implies instead of using force like Obasanjo would have done and it could prove to be a very costly mistake.
It may soon reach a time when bombings are everywhere and people have to sit at home because they are scared of dying and business would be seriously affected.
Why Olusegun Aganga must not represent Lagos State in Federal Cabinet
The recent ministerial list by submitted by Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan to the senate for approval includes Olusegun Aganga as the representative for Lagos State. The Nigerian constitution states that every state must have a representative in the federal cabinet and that means that the individual must be a son of that state. This is why Lagosians must rally to stop the nomination of Segun Aganga because he is from Edo State and it would be a great insult to us in Lagos if he is approved.
The man performed very well in the last cabinet and if the president wants to bring him on board again, then he use let him represent his own father's state and not Lagos of all states. Can you imagine a state has influential and powerful as Lagos not having anyone represent us in the federal cabinet? It is a deliberate move by the northern oligarchs who are out to frustrate the south-west in general because PDP has been wiped out from our zone.
Let me know what you guys think.

Are you a "Lebron James" or a "Kobe Bryant"?
The NBA finals have come and gone and I thought that I could use some basketball to express my analogy about life and success. As a very huge fan of Lebron and avid critic of Kobe, I have argued with my friends over the years that Lebron was the best player currently in the NBA. However, when the NBA finals came and LBJ could not close out the series and eventually "choked", I was very disappointed and finally came to the conclusion that he is just not a winner.
So my question to you guys is when you look into your own life, are you a winner like Kobe or are you just talented like Lebron but can't just get over the bridge but instead you come up with excuses. Your fans are the people around you like family are they are rooting for you to win, so which player are you?
