Why Amy Winehouse's Death is so disturbing?

The death of Amy Winehouse did not come as a surprise to me at all as i always felt she was going to end this way.  She had been rushed to the hospitals on so many occasions and near death a few times as well.  However, It saddens me because we all watched as she was going through these tough times but yet no one was able to help her or hear her cries.

It is not the first time that a rock star died from drug overdose and definitely will not be the last but it just gets more disturbing with every single occurrence.  She could have reached for the stars because she had talent but yet drugs and alcohol took all that away from her.

I've never been an addict or been on drugs so I would like to know how hard could it be to quit drugs that you knew could kill you if you overdose?

President Jonathan must "CRUSH" this nonsense.

The general premise about Nigerians as always been that we are the happiest people on earth (yes right!) and most Nigerians actually personify that happiness all over the world.  But the northern part of Nigeria has started to give us headache with all of this Boko Haram and AL-queda bullshit and our president must quench the fire before it becomes a blaze.  The momentum is rising from these idiots who have nothing better to do than kill Innocent people who are trying hard to make a living for themselves and the time is now to use absolute brutal force to wipe those fools out. The president wants to use amnesty for a group of people who are clearly uneducated as their name implies instead of using force like Obasanjo would have done and it could prove to be a very costly mistake.

It may soon reach  a time when bombings are everywhere and people have to sit at home because they are scared of dying and business would be seriously affected.

Why Olusegun Aganga must not represent Lagos State in Federal Cabinet

The recent ministerial list by submitted by Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan to the senate for approval includes Olusegun Aganga as the representative for Lagos State.  The Nigerian constitution states that every state must have a representative in the federal cabinet and that means that the individual must be a son of that state.  This is why Lagosians must rally to stop the nomination of Segun Aganga because he is from Edo State and it would be a great insult to us in Lagos if he is approved.

The man performed very well in the last cabinet and if the president wants to bring him on board again, then he use let him represent his own father's state and not Lagos of all states.  Can you imagine a state has influential and powerful as Lagos not having anyone represent us in the federal cabinet?  It is a deliberate move by the northern oligarchs who are out to frustrate the south-west in general because PDP has been wiped out from our zone.

Let me know what you guys think.

Are you a "Lebron James" or a "Kobe Bryant"?

The NBA finals have come and gone and I thought that I could use some basketball to express my analogy about life and success.  As a very huge fan of Lebron and avid critic of Kobe, I have argued with my friends over the years that Lebron was the best player currently in the NBA.  However, when the NBA finals came and LBJ could not close out the series and eventually "choked", I was very disappointed and finally came to the conclusion that he is just not a winner.
So my question to you guys is when you look into your own life, are you a winner like Kobe or are you just talented like Lebron but can't just get over the bridge but instead you come up with excuses.  Your fans are the people around you like family are they are rooting for you to win, so which player are you?
