Why we need guys like Ganiyu Solomon to lead Lagos State.

2015 is a very crucial year for Lagosians mainly because after the excellent work of BRF (Babatunde Raji Fashola), the next leader has huge shoes to fill.  Just like in 1999, when Nigeria could have taken huge leaps towards economic prosperity but instead Obasanjo dived the country further into corruption and poverty; we are the crossroads again in Lagos.

As the rumors have started pouring in regarding who will be the next leader of Lagos, I can't help but shake my head at some of the names that are being mentioned here.  Names like Ikuforiji who is currently on trial for money laundering and stealing from the Lagos State people to the tune of 7 BILLION Naira.

Lagos must take a stand and only elect people who have not only paid their dues by serving the state but also have no history of corruption allegations.  And the name that comes to mind for me is the current Minority Whip of the Senate, Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon (GOS).  He was once  a local goverment chairman, then House of representatives and currently a senator in the fourth republic

It is early to call and we will be waiting to see the aspirants but we must be very careful and not fall prey to the machinery behind ACN and then have them impose a candidate on us for their own benefits.

HOW THE US PLANS TO DISMEMBER NIGERIA BY 2015

HOW THE US PLANS TO DISMEMBER NIGERIA BY 2015
It is neither a coincidence nor guesswork that the National Intelligence Council of the United States Government estimated that Nigeria will disintegrate by the year 2015. The whole report actually is a coded statement of intentions on how using destabilization plots the US plans to eventually dismember Nigeria.  The whole goal of the destabilization campaign is to ensure that Nigeria is weakened internally by intractable crises leading up to 2015 when the next general elections are expected to come up. By that year there will be so much mutual suspicion among Nigerians that the elections itself might not hold or if they did at all will set the stage for a full rapture of the Nigerian state. By its calculation and design, the Nigerian state will be so fractious by then; it will be fully ripe for intervention and break up. It is in actualization of this plan that the US strategic planners on Nigeria have devised a three stage plan of implementation.
Stage 1: Pakistanizing Nigeria
With the scourge of Boko Haram as an existential reality, in the coming months the spate of bombings and attacks on public buildings are likely to escalate. High value symbolic targets like churches, mosques and large congregations of people of both faiths will be targeted. There will also be escalation in provocative statements and incitements by groups to violence. For good measure and effect, the bombings and attacks will be staged on days of observance of religious activities. The goal is to exacerbate tension and mutual suspicion among adherents of the two faiths in Nigeria and leading to sectarian violence. This pattern of destabilization operation is taken out of the Pakistani manual of destabilization where a sustained spate of CIA sponsored bombings and sectarian violence stretched the ability and resources of the law and order agencies to cope rendering the country weak and vulnerable to foreign intervention.
Stage 2: Internationalizing the Crisis
Having the set the stage for an intractable sectarian violence pitting Christians against Muslims and between the various disparate groups in the country, there will be calls from the United States, European Union and United Nations for a halt to the violence. A plethora of advocacy groups around the world will struggle for the photo opportunity to mouth concerns about the carnage and humanitarian catastrophe. They will try to make a great show of providing humanitarian aid. For effect, there will be carpet bombing coverage by the International media on the Nigerian crisis with so-called experts discussing all the ramifications who will strive to create the impression that only benevolent foreign intervention could resolve the crisis. There will be a deluge of international conferences at various capitals around the world all ostensibly aimed to save Nigerians from themselves. Meanwhile away from all the public flurry of activities, the US which initiated the crisis in the first place will be secretly drawing up plans to carve out Nigeria for its strategic and economic benefits.
Stage 3: the Great Carve out under UN Mandate
Following worldwide outrage at the scale of carnage resulting from all out war among various sections of Nigeria secretly induced by the United States and its allies, the stage will now shift to the United Nations where debates will take place on how the world body will work to resolve the crisis. There will be proposals first for an international peace keeping force to intervene and separate the warring groups and or for a UN mandate for various parts of Nigeria to come under mandated occupying powers. Of course behind the scenes the US and its allies would have secretly worked out which areas of Nigeria to occupy guided as it were by naked economic interests.
It is trite really which power or powers eventually occupies Nigeria for whatever reasons. By the time the UN comes to take a decision to hand over Nigeria for occupation under its mandate, no part of Nigeria will emerge or profit truly from the exercise. The rump areas of Nigeria will all come under occupation and puppet governments will then be set up at the behest of the occupying powers. Nigeria’s fall will be like that of humpty-dumpty, into pieces beyond recognition.
The main beneficiary will of course be the United States which started all this in the first place and which will be there to profit at the end. By engineering the break up of Nigeria, the United States would have eliminated a potential continental rival paving the way to the institution of a Pax Americana in Africa and secondly it would have limited its main global strategic rival China from direct access to badly needed energy and other mineral resources on the resource rich African continent.
QUESTIONS WE NEED TO ASK OURSELVES AS NIGERIANS
Against this background Nigerians need to stop and ask critical questions; what real purpose does it serve to deliberately leak a supposedly classified report from a US Intelligence organ normally restricted to only a handful of US policy makers only, to the media and for good measure ensure its wide circulation in the country against whom the action is targeted? Does that not indicate a statement of intent by the country that originated the report to serve as psychological intimidation for the purpose of softening up the targeted country making it ripe for intervention? In any routine investigation of an act, investigators usually call in the statements of material witnesses before or after the act whether deliberately uttered or inadvertently; does the statement by the United States National Intelligence Council on the break up of Nigeria in 2015 not amount to culpability in this regard especially in view of the escalation in the seemingly intractable acts of subversive violence taking place in Nigeria after that statement was released and also in view of US antecedents in matters such as this around the world?  Why is it that a country which has always been known for its resilience and ability to resolve its problems without outside interference? Is this not indicative of the very Nigerian saying that the witch cried in the night and the child died in the morning?  Why is someone somewhere hell bent on engineering Nigerians to form the unNigerian habit of harbouring and perpetrating desperate, extreme and unforgiving actions against themselves? Should we all 160million of us stand idly by and allow the United States achieve its selfish and diabolical aim of sowing discord in our country leaving us with widows, orphans and humanitarian problems as it has done in other places? Are we going to allow the labour of our heroes past which bequeathed us a nation second to none and reputed to be the backbone of Africa to die in vain?
From Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan and Latin America, America’s track record around the world has been nothing but ugly. In the words of its own statesmen, America has no permanent friends but permanents interests which translate into a healthy and utter disregard to the sensitivities and interests of other countries. That has pretty much formed the basis of US interaction around the world. The same situation will play itself out if we allow them in to our country.
Nigerians let us stop and think before we allow the big bad wolf in, for we will have nobody but ourselves to blame when our chickens start to get missing.

NIGERIANS, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE

My Fellow Nigerians,  It is said that a word is enough is enough for the wise and he who has ears, let him hear.  With all the nonsense called Boko Haram that is happening now and spreading everyday, I think it is high time we wake up and smell the coffee and we will see that this is not just ordinary people but  a group that has a backing from external forces.  When that stupid idiot Yusuf was killed, most thought that the Boko Haram nonsense would come to an end but since then they have become stronger and the attacks have been more daring and casualties have skyrocketed. So my question is how can an organization which was weakened before its leader was killed become all of a sudden stronger after their leader was mutilated.  What happened to Al Qaeda after the death of its leaders including Osama Bin Laden?  Did they become stronger or weaker?  So why is Boko Haram becoming stronger?  They are becoming stronger because the external forces who have the most to gain from the catastrophic nature of these events are making sure that they are not silenced.   Most have claimed that these forces are the Northern Oligarchy who want to wrestle power from Jonathan in 2015 and plan to disrupt the country's peace in doing so. However, I strongly think a bigger boss is behind these attacks and that big boss is USA.  USA stands to gain the most if Nigeria breaks up as they have stated in 2015 because they can come in and take over under the guise of a new treaty that they formed called ACRI ( Africa Crises Response Initiative).
ACRI was set up during the Bush Jnr Administration as a counterweight to the Nigeria led ECOWAS Monitoring Group on the Liberian Civil War or ECOMOG as it is more popularly known. ACRI came to being from the secret reports and recommendations separately by the Africa-America Institute and the Brookings Institute commissioned by the Central Intelligence Agency, the American Government’s Directorate responsible for organizing foreign subversive activities, on the Liberian civil war and the intervention of ECOMOG. Both reports zeroed in on the pivotal role Nigeria playing in the ECOMOG initiative and noted pointedly the phenomenal success recorded by ECOMOG in containing the Liberian crisis without any significant role or intervention from any of the major western powers including the United States.  The report concluded that should ECOMOG be allowed to go the whole hog, the major beneficiary will be Nigeria and that might form the basis for a pax Nigeriana in the West African sub-region eclipsing the influence of former colonial powers France and Britain. The reports also called on the United States Government to note that Liberia being its creation should not be allowed to fall into Nigerian hands with consequences to US strategic interests in the country and the region. Specifically both reports noted that should Nigeria be allowed to have a foothold in Liberia, it will further embolden Nigeria to challenge the US and the West in carving its own sphere of interest at their expense. In this regard, the report further recalled Nigeria’s role in helping to liberate the southern African countries in the 70’s and 80’s in clear opposition and defiance to the interests of the United States and its western allies which resulted in setback for Western initiatives in Africa at the time. Both concluded with a recommendation that the US Government in conjunction with its allies should seek to contain the growing influence of Nigeria in the sub-region by forming a parallel organization to ECOMOG. But in order not to unduly alarm and antagonize Nigeria which the report admitted still had considerable influence in the region, the US government was advised to go about this using quiet diplomacy.
During the secret congressional hearing organized to consider the reports by both institutes on Nigeria’s role in the ECOMOG, the interagency team comprising representatives from the CIA, Pentagon and State Department formed to push the case, endorsed the recommendation that Nigeria be kept out of the alternate arrangements on Liberia that was being proposed. The strategy was to win away some key African countries from participation enthusiastically in the ECOMOG initiative. The sweeteners for this were the promise and delivery of military and humanitarian aid. This was the line the then US Secretary of State Warren Christopher pursued when he visited a number of African countries excluding Nigeria to sell the ACRI idea.

Northern Nigeria Youth need to STEP UP

The History of Nigeria has always been deeply rooted in Religious and tribal warfare and quite frankly the change lies in our hands as the youth of this beloved country.  The current insecurity that is going on in Nigeria today as a result of this Boko Haram nonsense to me is just a cry for help by the youths of the Northern parts of Nigeria.  Since the 1960s, the South West and South East have continually progressed in terms of education and trade and thus the development can be seen in their respective regions but the northerners instead have turn their back on education and chose to send their kids to the military or just Islamic schools but have failed to get them educated so they can compete with their fellow Nigerian youths from the south.  The focus on Islam needs to be reduced because quite frankly this is 2012 and Technology is the order of the day.  These youths need to educate them selves and develop their regions instead of fighting everyone for no reason.  The Sokoto caliphate and all the emirs up there are stuck in the past and the youths need to show them that they cannot move forward unless they they abide to Western customs like Lagos is currently doing.

Can someone tell me what these guys are fighting for?  They say all Christians should leave the North and then the next minute they are fighting the Government.  Sounds to me like these guys are just crying for help because they can't compete with the intellectuals and Technocrats down south.  The governors up there are also to blame because they cater to Islam way too much when they should be educating the youth and make them innovators.  Most of the kids are intelligent but their  Islamic scholars won't let them harness their potential because they want to control them for their own gain.

Time is NOW or NEVER for Nigeria

In one of my earlier posts, I said that we needed to start a revolution called Occupy Nigeria and this was even before the subsidy removal palava.  My rationale was that we as a country was too blessed with natural resources (Oil) to be living like this.  A country that has that much Oil but yet 70% of its population lives on less than $2 a day?  A country that flares enough gas to power the whole of West Africa but yet it's citizens live in darkness, a country that exports crude oil but yet imports petroleum products, a country where refineries are operating at 10% or less and the NNPC is allowed to defraud its citizens and enlarge their pockets.

Why did it take so long for us to begin these protests and strikes? Is it because we love our lives so much and don't want any commotion? Is it because we are so infatuated with the rich and all want to be politicians some day as well?  Whatever the reason may be, Its about time we put that all aside and fight for this nation and cut off the rot once and for all.  We need new leaders who are younger and are way smarter than those we have now.  We need to expose and eliminate the so called Cabals who are so greedy that they could care less about the masses. We need to stop fantasizing about their lifestyle and mansions and worry about our own well being.  We need to STAND up for our Rights and protect our country so that our children can have a country to call home.

Those bastards in the north who think Nigeria is their own and think they can use religious violence to disrupt our peace must be exposed and eliminated.  They have been in control too long and we need intellectuals to run the government and not old fools who are in their 70s and 80s.

Misconception of "Swag" and how black men need to get it right.

Black men of this generation face all kinds of problems from high incarceration rates to high unemployment rates and while some of these problems are caused by the plans and systems that the "Man" has put in place to put us down; majority are of course by our own doing.  One of the issues that we created and we must fix asap is this new phenomenon called Swag.  Swag I guess is a man's persona, style or just the way he carries himself and presents himself to the world and also what make him cool.

I had to blog about this because i was having dinner with a young black woman who I had so much respect for until she told me that the one guy she had a crush on was Lil Wayne because he is the black dude with the most "Swag". I asked her what she meant by Lil Wayne having swag and she started rambling on and on about the way he dresses and what he says to women in his songs.  This dumb broad even went to say that she would sleep with Lil Wayne just because of the things he says?  Wow, the same dude that said "I wish I could fuck every girl in the world" and has like 5 baby mamas  and can't stay of drugs or out of prison.

Now to me Obama is a guy that has swag because for one he ain't never been to jail and has a nice job, dresses appropriately (no sagging here).

So dear brothers, instead of you sitting around and whining about the problems the society has poured on you, please know that how you present yourself to the world matters a lot and could be the key to you breaking that unemployment jinx or meeting people who can help get you to good places in life.

Some stupid hoes might have you believing that looking like wayne or Soulja boy is swag and may even give you some pum-pum for that but you have to choose between being a successful man in life or getting regular hood rat pum-pum.

Kim Kardashian files for Divorce after 72 days. What a Nutcase!!

Okay so by now most who know me already know that I don't believe in marriage and I feel its just an old tradition that will eventually become extinct.  Majority of men nowadays will cheat on their spouses within a year of marriage so why do we even bother to go forward with the lavish weddings (a la Nigerians)?
I knew Kim's wedding was not going to last like the rest of the world also knew but even I did not think it would be over so quick.  This is going to be a big deal because how can you spend $10Million on wedding and then less than 3 months later, its over?  What were they thinking and why did they not take time to get to know one another before making a stupid mistake  jumping the broom?

How should the guest feel that a wedding that they took time out to plan for and spent money to get nice digs is already over before they can even say Congrats?  How should the sponsors feel after investing millions into this garbage of an event? Or how about Vera Wang who probably created an entire staff to attend to Kim's wedding dress project?  How should Kris's parents feel after inviting family and friends to share the joyous occasion with never mind the fact that they must have had to explain why their son is doing such a stupid thing anyway.

I mean seriously, what could have left them to come to such a decision so quick?  Word has it that Kris wanted to live in Minnesota and Kim wanted to live in LA which makes no sense at all because shouldn't they have had that convo within days of being together?

I had a friend in Nigeria who also had one of the most lavish weddings that I had ever seen in my life and within six months of marriage , we were out in Vegas together with girls all around us and yes he smashed a couple of them.  I am counting down to the divorce date on that marriage because it also has SCAM written all over it.

Obama the Messiah or Obama the 419?

I rarely cry in this life because quite frankly I am not an emotional dude but I will say that I cried twice because of the POTUS Obama; once when I was at that polling booth right after I voted for him and second the day he won the general elections and was giving his ever moving and motivational speech.  However, after the tears and hoopla has settled in, I am beginning to ask some questions about who really this dude is because all the promises that he gave during his campaign seem to be kinda empty now because for one, we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan and secondly the Big banks who got America into this mess were given hefty bail outs by the guy who was supposed to be against the financial special interest and lobbyists.

Politics by definition is a process whereby groups of people make collective decisions  but who are the group of people that are making decisions about America and the rest of the world.  Research the Bilderberg group and you will see who runs the world.  The Black man was just used as a pawn once again to be a puppet to calm down the revolution that was about to start.  They put him there so that he can continue their agenda of world domination and all that campaign rhetoric was nonsense.  Take a look at his cabinet and you will see the same people who ruined USA but he wants us to believe that the change will come from those same people?

So while we are happy and celebrating all over the world about having a black president, we must not forget that the world is still controlled and dominated by Anglophones and they just used a black man to calm the world down while their agenda continues.....

Occupy Nigeria NOW!!!

The new wave of occupy Wall street and other cities all over the globe has got me thinking why we as Nigerians who have been hoodwinked for years have not yet had Occupy Lagos or Occupy Abuja?  The protesters are protesting the way the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer and is there any place more evident of that in the world than in Nigeria?

The band of Elitists that control most of Nigeria's resources and keep pummeling us into debt have had a free run for years and yet no student protests nor revolution has occurred.  Is this how we will continue to sit down and watch these bastards as they treat us like slaves?  Americans and Europeans have started their own revolution and we all saw what happened in the Arab nations with the likes of Ghadaffi; so when will we rise up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?

Should / Would you let a mate know that he / she is just a fling?

So I just got off the phone with my friend who recently relocated temporarily to Nigeria for business and while we were politicking (guy talk) he informed me that he is now prancing around in a Range Rover jeep and that the owner of the car is a girl he is dating / sleeping with.  That will be fine except for the fact that the dude is married here in the states.  What really caught my attention is when he said that the girl told him to please not hurt her and he said to me that he was thinking to himself that "abi she should not hurt herself" LMAO.  We laughed for a second and then after I realized that this is not funny as the poor girl has probably started telling friends and family that she has a new guy who just relocated from USA.
So my question is should one just keep it real and tell a new acquaintance that this here is just a fling and nothing long term will come from it?  Keep in mind that if he had kept it real, he probably won't be getting free dinner, sex and of course riding around in the range rover.
